The fringes of Iranian society can be a lonely place, especially if you are a teenage girl with few resources to fall back on. The film presents a one-of-kind /unique in its kind /rehabilitation center - “Omide Mehr”, which helps the girls to conquer the difficulties and to pull themselves out of the margins.This documentary reflects a side of Iran few have access to or paid attention to. Four girls share their stories and show us their tenacious struggle against the obstacles. It is also about a group of courageous women working to instill a sense of empowerment and hope into the lives of otherwise discarded teenage girls.The film focuses on all the topics of contemporary Iranian life; drug abuse, domestic and sexual violence, rough family relationships, religious restrictions.
