Please join us in remembering the incredible life and soul of Bijan Ghaisar, whose life was tragically and unjustly taken on Friday, November 17th, when he was shot in the head three times by the US Park Police as an unarmed person. He was a bright, positive, & passionate soul, who believed in peace and humanity.
It has been two weeks since Bijan was fatally shot. His family has not received any information or details of the case surrounding their son's death, including the names of the Park Police Officers who were involved, though no reasoning could possibly justify the actions of those involved in this unthinkable act.
This vigil is to be a peaceful moment of unity for all who love Bijan and our community, who value human life, and who wish to remember his legacy, to join in a moment of togetherness, poetry, and peace. This is not a protest or a march - please come in peace, as Bijan would.
This event is hosted by the friends and family of Bijan.

* LOCATION: Please meet at the Lincoln Memorial, one of Bijan's favorite places in the world. Stay tuned for additional details.
* TIME: The event will begin promptly at 8PM
* ATTIRE: We encourage you to wear WHITE and dress warmly
