Massumeh Farhad, Chief Curator and Curator of Islamic Art, discusses luxurious gifts from the Safavids of Iran to the Russian tsars. Many of the sumptuous treasures now in the Moscow Kremlin began as diplomatic gifts from political and commercial leaders in Safavid Iran and Ottoman Turkey.
