SILK ROAD BUFFET - 6 PM ( arrive early please)
Those who reserve tickets early have the option of registering for the pre-concert Silk Road buffet prepared by Gairatjan Rozi, Director of Silk Road Uyghur Food Company. Before moving to the DC area, he owned the Silk Road Uyghur Restaurant in Amsterdam. Rozi will open a Central Asian restaurant - Marco & Polo - this coming Spring near Prince George's Plaza.
WEDDING IN BUKHARA - concert 7 PM
Featuring folkdance and traditions from Central Asia. Performance will include performances by the award-winning Silk Road Dance Company and exciting special guest artists.
SILK ROAD BAZAAR
The Silk Road Bazaar presented by Zamani House of Heritage will offer Central Asian arts and crafts for purchase. The sale of these items help support the Afghan, Uzbek, and Tajik families who create them. Zamani has locations in Georgetown and Sterling, Virginia.
SILK ROAD RAFFLE
Intriguing, exotic items, including several costume pieces. Buy several tickets to increase your chances of going home a winner.

Concert goers will also enjoy the "Instagram Corner" where they can become time travelers and dress up in traditional robes and headdresses for photos in front of a Central Asian backdrop.
