The protest will start in front of the Iranian Interest Section, "Daftar" at 6:00pm followed by a March to DuPont Circle for a Candle Vigil.
we plan on marching towards Dupont at 7 pm. Please note the route we will be going South on Wisconsin (towards Georgetown) and making a left on P. P will hit straight to Dupont Circle. The walk is about 2 miles, if you or anyone else thinks they cannot do the march please meet us at Dupont. Everyone who plans on marching will be at Dupont by 8 pm.
If you plan on being late...please either drive or metro to Dupont(red line)
Wear black to mourn are fallen brothers and sisters, please bring candles with you for the Vigil
Please NO FLAGS. The images of flags are being used by Ahamdinejad and his supporters in an opportunistic manner to further justify their oppression and murder of people. Further, flags become a cause of division within Iranian society.
