Bijan was shot on 11/17/17 four times in the head and once in the wrist by two aggressive United States Park Police officers. Those officers have not been identified. Their actions have not been explained. They have not been charged. Basic answers have not been provided by anyone involved (Park Police, U.S. Department of the Interior, FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation or The United States Department of Justice). Justice has not been served.

On 11/17/18, join us (friends, family, community leaders, civil rights organizers and others) for a vigil, a moment of remembrance and action, exactly one year after his tragic, violent death at the hands of two STILL UNNAMED Park Police officers.
Why?
Because Justice delayed is justice denied.
Because every day we don't have answers is pouring salt in the wound.
Because we can't honor Bijan without action.
Because we must keep fighting.
Because this silence and inaction from the government is fundamentally un-American.
Because our law enforcement must be held accountable.
Because our government can and should do better.
