Meet our keynote speaker, Jon Snow:
Jon Snow has been the face of Channel 4 News since 1989. He joined ITN in 1976 and became Washington Correspondent in 1984. Since then, he has traveled the world to cover the news – from the fall of the Berlin Wall and the release of Nelson Mandela, to Barack Obama's inauguration and the earthquake in Haiti. Jon Snow has witnessed first-hand some of the key moment in the U.S.-Iran relationship, including the 1979 Revolution and the aftermath of the failed U.S. hostage rescue attempt. For years Mr. Snow has been one of the strongest voices worldwide calling for an end to the duplicitous U.S.-Iran relationship and has relied on his powerful personal experiences to communicate just how costly the last 36 years have been—for both sides—in a truly unrivaled manner.
