The first day of spring, March 21st is marked in the calendars of all Iranians as Norouz, or Persian New Year. With the approach of Norouz Iranians all over the world set up the table of Haft-Seen, and celebrate the arrival of new year with visiting their families and friends. The tables of Haft-Seen (or seven ‘S’s) contains different objects, from a dish of homemade sweets, to painted eggs and flowers. Each of these objects symbolizes a certain good trait, related to new and fresh beginnings. Maryam Farokhy the founder of Purple Lotus Event Planning is preparing a beautiful Haft-Seen in Park Royal North on March 19th, 20th and 21st, during the usual hours of the mall.
