A workshop for teen writers to discuss five aspects of crafting a piece of fiction:
(1) How to Create Characters Who Breathe on the Page
(2) The Art of Writing Dialogue
(3) Plot Is the Thing: Suspense and Conflict
(4) Point of View
(5) Setting
Our instructor, writer-in-residence Ava Homa, will distribute five short stories to the participating writers before the first workshop. During each session, participants are encouraged to read the text and analyze one main element.
