The Longest Night in the year is approaching, the eve of winter solstice. The Persian winter solstice celebrated since the ancient times of our greatest empire, Persia. On this Special night, where Mitra, the Persian angel of light and truth, was born out of light within the Alborz Mountains, we will get together as family and as friends in order to celebrate this beautiful and meaningful night. We will share stories, read Sa’di poems, stay up past midnight, share food, and dance in order to protect ourselves from misfortune, just like our ancestors did for thousands of years. So, dear friends join us and lets seat together to commemorate this night
