International Society for Iranian Studies (ISIS)devoted to all aspects of
Iranian studies. In marking the fortieth anniversary of ISIS, we are planning an impressive program during the Seventh ISIS Biennial Conference. The conference will be accompanied by a series of related/parallel cultural events in Toronto, and we particularly encourage works devoted to new areas of inquiry and probing new methodologies. This will bring to Toronto approximately 250 scholars from various parts of the world for the presentation of their current research on Iran. This is the largest international gathering of scholars who study, teach and write on Iran. There will also be a book Exhibit, a film festival and Persian Trilogy performed by Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
