Amnesty International celebrates 50 years of being and making history with an exhibition of 30 of the most arresting posters designed for Amnesty campaigns and themes over the last 50 years. A local celebration for human rights globally.
The posters were designed for Amnesty campaigns and themes over the last five decades by some of the most influential artists of the 20th century - Picasso, David Hockney, Joan Miro, Fernando Botero, Jack Youngerman and Max Bill and many others.
Seven of the posters have been donated by Margaret Atwood. These magnificent art posters display the power of the artist as activist, many of whom know first hand the importance of freedom of expression.
