Miriam Peretz is featured at Harbourfront Tirgan Festival
This workshop will offer students technique & short combinations in Miriam's signature style of Persian dance which draws heavily from Persian Classical dance, and other Silk Road dance styles while also incorporating devotional themes found in Sufi poetry, whirling practices and a contemporary aesthetic and movement basis. Focus will be on upper body fluidity and grace, musicality, short combinations, and numerous techniques for turning.
