Planning for the 3rd Annual Persian Conference in Toronto is well underway. It promises to be an exciting conference. While the conference will still be held over the the Victoria Day long weekend, from Friday May 16th through Monday May 19th, 2014, the conference venue has changed. We will be holding the conference at the Hilton Suites, at the intersection of Warden and Highway 7. This year's conference theme is "Foundations of Iranian Civilization" ( مبانی مدنیت ایران).
The conference will start at 7:30 pm on the Friday and ends at 2:00 pm on the Monday. On-Site Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. on Friday May 17th at the Hilton.
As with the past two years, this year will be filled with exciting wonderful speakers and top-notch artists. While this is indeed a Persian conference, and most sessions will be held in the Persian language, our goal is for the conference to be inclusive to all, including those of Persian ancestry who may not be fluent in Persian, and also those who may be interested in the Persian culture, music and history. In that spirit, Persian sessions will be translated into English.
