Regional Centre on Urban Water Management of Iran is going to host a Workshop for the high ranking and senior officials of power sector of the ECO Member States. The subjects to be discussed would include:
- Prospects of energy consumption in the ECO Region and the role of water power plants;
- Possibilities and potentials for development of water electric power plants in the Region;
- Method of financing of such power plants;
- Regional cooperation for building of headed equipments for the power plants;
- Needs of the region for human and institutional capacity building in this regard.
The host would provide round trip tickets, accommodation and local hospitality to two delegates from each Member State.
