Iranian musicians Masoud Shoari (Setar), Behdad Babaei (Setar) and Hossein Alizadeh (Shurangiz) will accompany the orchestra in some pieces.
Renowned scholar and composer, Mohammad Reza Darvishi has written numerous books and conducted researches on music. His Encyclopedia of the Musical Instruments of Iran has been awarded the Klaus P. Wachsmann Prize for best publication in the field of musical instrument research and organology.
A distinguished composer, and Tar and Setar player, Hossein Alizadeh has developed Shurangiz, a new six-stringed instrument with a longer fingerboard and more frets compared to its original prototype, Setar, a press tv report said.
Expert Setar player, Masoud Shoari and Behdad Babaei have both held concerts with Hossein Alizadeh.
