The Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization (IBTO) and ECO are co-organizing the first meeting of the Heads of Blood Transfusion Organizations of ECO Member States. The Meeting will be held in Tehran, Iran, on June 23 -24, 2008, and it will be hosted by IBTO. The primary objectives of this meeting are:
* Review of the status of blood transfusion in the ECO Member States.
* Exchange ideas on blood safety quality systems in Member States.
* Share experience of good practices in meeting main challenges facing Member States.
* Identify potentials available for regional networking and cooperation
