This year the festival has two exciting programs.
Official Selection:
The Official Selection will present an exciting collection of recent dramas, comdies and romances by PErsian filmmakers from across the globe. The program includes Abbas Kiarostami's Japanese film Like Someone in Love, French Iranian filmmaker Marjan Satrapi's Chicken with Plums (Closing Night) and Massoud Bakhshi's A Respectable Family (Opening Night) just to name a few!
A Retrospective:
Immerse yourself in 50 years of cinematic expression by masters of Iranian cinema, some premiering in Australia for the first time. The program offers rare public screenings by award winning directors, Dariush Mehrjui, Abbas Kiarostami, Amir Naderi, Jafar Panahi, Asghar Farhadi, Mohsen Makhmalbaf and many more.
