The Northern California chapter of SUTA organizes an evening with series of talks to recognize and celebrate decades of mutual contributions of these two prestigious institutions. Several professors including Professor Bruce Wooley (former chair of the Electrical Engineering department at Stanford) from both universities and distinguished guests will be present and speak to the success of Iranian students (and in particular Sharif graduates) at Stanford and the Silicon Valley as well as the contributions of Stanford graduates to Sharif University. The program also involves recognizing individuals with significant contributions as well as musical entertainment. The tentative program is as follows.
