His unique music style resembles a patchwork of Persian classical poetry of Hafez, Rumi or Saadi with western music, namely rock, blues, and jazz.
For the past six months Stanford Iranian Studies have been hosting Mr. Mohsen Namjoo as a Visiting Fellow at Stanford. They are now attempting to extend his stay. He is working on a manuscript on recent transitions in Iranian music. He is working in the Music Department with Professor Jindong Cai, Gretchen B. Kimball Director of Orchestral Studies and Associate Professor (Performance) of Music and Dr. Milani.
