Sound Refuge Charity Concert on Sun 17th July 2016
The concert will welcome you with a dynamic Persian frame daf performance which symbolize harmony and diversity. You will also experience a traditional performance by two talented vocalists which instill a sense of Persian, Turkish, Kurdish music.
The vocalist will be accompanied by unique instruments such as Daf drum, ancient Lutes, Santoor, Violin, Kamancheh , Piano,Guitar and Tonbak.
"Manchester Turkish Music Choir" will be collaborating with us also.
They will perform a Sufi song called 'Come and see me what love has done to me' accompanied by an entertaining (Sema) Dance.
They illustrate peace, compassion and sincerity through music and dance.
"Manchester Turkish Music choir is a sub-group of Manchester Turkish British Association."
All proceeds will be donated to L'Auberge des migrants/help refugees.
