The Seattle International Children's Festival is for children and other adventurous people! World-class performance companies from Australia, Burkina Faso, Quebec, South Africa, Scotland, Mexico, Israel, Germany, Iran, New Zealand, Japan, Pacific Islands, Ukraine and the United States. Nearly 30,000 students, teachers and parents attend weekday school-hour shows at venues around Seattle Center. The general public is welcome at these shows on a space-available basis, and encouraged to attend Thursday afternoon, Friday night and Saturday performances. Also Discovery Centers with hands-on activities related to Festival programming including parading, karaoke and games.
