Nowruz is an ancient festivity marking the first day of spring. It is celebrated by people from many different ethnicities and religions in countries including Afghanistan, Albania, Azerbaijan, Macedonia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.
