Story:
This lyrical debut feature from Iran was a deserving recipient of one of the Tiger Awards at this year's Rotterdam International Film Festival. Set in little-known but spectacularly beautiful islands in the Persian Gulf, the story revolves around Motu, who belongs to a gang of reckless youth. Motu is fearless, and dreams of becoming as rich and famous as his football hero, the Brazilian player Ronaldinho.
