Hi All , it's time for my MFA mid-res recital and I'd love to have you in our little hang out called :
I'M AN IRANIAN AMERICAN MERMAID WITH SO MANY STORIES
You know recently I've been thinking a lot about how I'd form this recital to truly show how I'm feeling at this time in the world. as you know it's a hectic kind of a weird time for me. At the end of the day I thought that I don't want to make this recital about anger or sadness or any sort of negativity. I want to make it about love and laughter and just us friends hanging out and talk and listen to music and talk a bit more. People have been shocked that I'm continously functioning and acting like my normal self even with all that has happened to me the past few months and I think the reason for that is that I have SO MANY WEIRD STORIES that I went through and you guys don't know of. This is how this night is gonna be , bring your blanket and whatever makes you comfortable because I'm gonna tell you so many interesting stories that I experienced as an Iranian American and play songs in the middle and show you pictures of my childhood. I'd really love it if you come to the thing and let me introduce you to the world that I lived in. It's not long, it's super chill cause I know we all have shit to do.
It's short and sweet (1 hour, don't be late)
followed by Persian Reception OF COURSE!
