From Arabs to Jews, North Africa to Central Asia, the Middle East's delightfully diverse cultures are all featured in "An Evening of Middle Eastern Music and Dance," Albion College's 2008 Daoud Family Lecture in Middle Eastern Studies. The University of California-Santa Barbara (UCSB) Middle East Ensemble presents this concert.
The concert will feature songs, instrumental pieces and dances from the many diverse cultures, including Arab, Persian, Turkish, Armenian, Assyrian and Sephardic Jewish pieces.
