On August 6th, 2011, Jean-Yves Thibaudet performs the West coast premiere of Ranjbaran's Piano Concerto in Cabrillo Festival with Marin Alsop conducting. This performance is part of Ranjbaran's residency with the Cabrillo Festival. The new concerto was commissioned and premiered by Thibaudet and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in June, 2008, with Robert Spano conducting.
