Join us for an evening of poetry to mark the 6th anniversary of the al-Mutanabbi Street bombing in Baghdad, Iraq and to celebrate the publication of the anthology "Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here".
Guest speakers include Bay Area poets Gloria Collins, Erica Goss, Esther Kamkar, Persis Karim, Evelyn So, Robert Perry and founder of the “Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here Coalition,” Beau Beausoleil and co-editor, Deema Shehabi. Special guests, Sally Ashton and Najia Karim will also attend.
