Dina Zarif Ensemble, Love Songs from Around the World (LSFATW)
Is a collaboration between an Iranian immigrant singer and a San Francisco native harpist, performing a blend of classical and folk – world music. The ensemble invites the listener on a journey that fuses Flamenco and Tango inspired rhythms and Iranian Folk tunes in a seamless soundscape of tragedy and triumph with deep concepts of immigration and homeland. The ensemble is joined by Special guest and featured Composer/guitarist Will Brahm.

Love Songs from Around the World (LSFATW) Formed May 2015 as a harp and voice duo, in the Mission District of San Francisco, this ensemble has expanded incorporating percussion, clarinet, and upright bass. They headlined the stage of the Brava Theater (March 2017)in What Do the Women Say, 2017, Golden Thread's celebration of International Women’s Day for a Syrian benefit concert and San Francisco International Arts Festival in Fort Mason(May 2016), House concert in SF, (November 2016) and Los angles tour( Aug 2016). Featured in Montalvo Art Center, "Voices in the Garden," (September 2017). Featured in "Banned together" A benefit concert for the United Nations "Adopt-A-Future." and a Collaboration with Dana Lawton Dance, October 2017.

Dina Zarif
Is a performer and vocalist who combines western classical singing with middle eastern styles inspired from her Persian roots to develop her unique sound. Some of her credits are 2016 SF International Arts Festival, Palace of Fine Art, San Jose stage, with golden thread production in Brava Theater And Leyla & Majnun staged reading at BAMPFA as part of the symposium around Silk Road Ensemble & Mark Morris. She performed in Bahram Beyzai-One of the most influential researcher and play writer of Iran-“Tarabnameh" a 9 hour Persian traditional musical in Stanford Iranian studies department.
She is a costume designer and actress in the "Feathers of Fire" shadow production performed in SF Cowell Theater, Brooklyn Academy of music, Harvard and Metropolitan Museum in NY, Wallis Annenberg Hall in Los Angeles and internationally toured in Poland, Taiwan & Canada. Dina received her MA in Landscape Architecture and currently is the Director of Programming at Red Poppy Art House in San Francisco.
Amelia Romano
Is a professional freelance harpist and singer.
An active performer in Bay Area venues including the Mission Cultural Center, Red Poppy Art House, and La Pena. Her world music trio, StringQuake, draws inspiration from world traditions compositing with odd meters and driving improvisation. StringQuake toured Mexico in 2013, 2014, 2015, and performed in "Festival de Latinoamericano de arpa Durango" Mexico in 2013 and 2015. Her most recent collaboration, Luminance Ensemble, features harp, trumpet and acoustic bass, showcasing unique instrumentation through original compositions, arrangements of traditional South American folk songs, jazz improvisation, and American songbook standards.
Will Brahm
Born in Portland Oregon, Will moved to Los Angeles in 2007 and attended the Cole Conservatory of music at Cal State Long Beach, graduating in 2012 with a bachelors degree in jazz guitar performance as a 5-time K-jazz scholar. Having always loved music from different cultures around the world, Will formed his world music group "Homenaje", releasing their debut album "La Mariposa y el Mentiroso." In 2017, featuring all original compositions of Will's. He tours internationally with Homenaje and the New West Guitar Group.
