A 7.3-magnitude earthquake has shaken the northern border region between Iran and Iraq, killing at least 396 people and injuring thousands more. Moved by the tragedy of the deadliest earthquake of 2017, musician and Kermanshah native Sirvan Manhoubi brings together a group of musicians to raise both awareness and funds in support of the victims.
The evening will feature Iranian and Kurdish traditional music - the first part of the performance representing grief, and the second part symbolizing the Kurdish culture through hope and vibrant melodies.
