AIAP members and nonmembers are cordially invited to join us for our annual picnic. This is a token of appreciation to our members. Enjoy a day at Mission Bay Park with Persian food and games for both adults and children.
The food will be provided based on the number of RSVP’s. Thus, if lunch is desired, please make your lunch RSVP as soon as possible. Our food supplier cannot support non-RSVP orders.
Important Notes:
1- The deadline for lunch RSVP is Thursday August 22nd.
2- RSVP is required for all attendees.
3- The event is open to everyone.
4. Lunch will be served at 2:00 PM
Lunch Menu: Delicious Persian kebab catered by Balboa International Market, watermelon, tea, and pastries.
Lunch Ticket Prices:
Non-members - $20
Non-Members Children Ages 6-12 $10
All Children ages 0 to 6 - Free
Games & Activities: Activities will include volleyball, dodgeball, backgammon tournaments, and balloon toss and piñata games for children. The entry fee for the backgammon and chess tournament is $5 each, and entries are limited to the first 16 people who sign up starting at 1pm on the picnic day. The top two contestants in the tournament will win a prize! Please bring your own backgammon and chess sets so that we can have multiple games at once.
For your own comfort, please bring chairs, blankets, tables and any other personal picnic items. We look forward to seeing you there.
