Please join us celebrating Mehregan, Festival of Harvest and Friendship with the people of Iran. The city of San Diego is about to approve a city proclamation making October 8th, 2009, Mehregan, Harvest of Freedom Day, in solidarity with the People of Iran. At this event, the City of San Diego, will officially present this proclamation to the Iranian American community. Guest speaker, Professor Babak Rahimi of UCSD, who has just returned from Iran, will provide analysis of the events in Iran. Various music groups will perform in solidarity with the people of Iran.
