The San Diego Chapter of the Iranian American Bar Association will host an MCLE lecture entitled "Latest Developments in Civil Rights & Affirmative Actions" presented by Professor Roy L. Brooks.
Professor Brooks has been teaching civil rights, employment discrimination & civil procedure for 29 years at the University of San Diego, School of Law. He has authored more than 20 books, including "Rethinking the American Race Problem" (University of California Press) and "Integration or Separation? A Strategy for Racial Equality" (Harvard University Press), both of which received the Gustavus Meyers Outstanding Book Award for Civil Rights. He graduated from Yale University Law School (JD 1975), and is a member of the prestigious law reform group, American Law Institute.
MCLE: 1 hour credit available (pending approval by the State Bar of California)
