Dr. Maboud Ansari, Professor of Sociology at William Paterson University in Wane, New Jersey, will examine the meaning of self-ethnic identification among second generation Iranians in the United States. He will explain how interrelated anti-Western action in Iran and anti-Iranian sentiment in America reinforced the development of a new community of Iranian-Americans.
Mr. Ansari's presentation will be preceded by the music of Maryam Moein.
