Celebrate the Persian New Year with One Book, One San Diego! Join us for an evening of Persian art and literature, including:
- reading and discussion with Zohreh Ghahremani, author of “Sky of Red Poppies,” a 2012 One Book selection, and Sonya Quintanilla, Curator of Asian Art at The San Diego Museum of Art
- a chance to explore Persian Art at The San Diego Museum of Art’s Persian art exhibition "Temple, Palace, Mosque,"
- and a special display of original art by Zohreh Ghahremani.
Doors open at 6:30 pm; presentation from 7:00-8:00 pm. Event followed by traditional Persian tea reception and book signing from 8:00-9:00 pm.
