MEHR Foundation of San Antonio presents: Microtone
Microtone, the latest creation of Fared Shafinury - A multi-media concert that explores the dialogue between the long-necked lute (setar), the human voice, the goblet drum (tonbak), and the many sounds of nature. Microtone tells the story of the spiritual drunkness of existence that brings to life Persian microtonal music and classical Persian poetry.
