The 22nd Sound Ways New Music Festival opening concert will take place at St.-Petersburg State Philharmonia's Small Hall. In this opening concert a new work entitled «Pause» by Iranian composer Mehdi Hosseini will be performed by the Sound Ways ensemble, conducted by the American conductor B.E.Cawyer.
«Pause» is dedicated to the topic of Chekhov's silent dramaturgy. It Was commissioned by the Sound Ways festival. This year, the opening concert of the festival is dedicated to Anton Chekhov.
