Come celebrate Norooz, also known as Persian New Year Year with the Muslim Students Association! Norooz takes place on the first day of spring and to celebrate, Persians create a Haftsin, or a tabletop or arrangement of seven symbolic items traditionally displayed and enjoy a meal together. Each item has its own unique meaning and represents something in the New Year.
Whether you are Persian, partly Persian or not Persian at all, come and enjoy some FREE authentic Persian food and celebrate the coming of Spring and the Persian New Year.
