The UC Davis Iranian Student Association (SEDAD) is proud to present its first monthly Persian Poetry Nights on January 21st. Location: Bainer hall, room 2130 - Conference room
The program is as follows:
1. Short lecture by Dr. Alali on the enlightenment era and the development of the Modern Mind in Western culture (20 min+10 Q&A).
2. Free style poetry reading (30-45 min): all attendees are encouraged to participate by reading their favorite poems or literature.
3. Group Discussion (30 min): Sharing thoughts/ideas on the last section’s poems or literature.

This event is free and open to the public but RSVPs are strongly encouraged.
This event will be held in Farsi.
Small snacks and beverages will be provided.
