At the festival you are introduced to Iran without any prejudices and you can follow the recent developments in the Iranian cinema, with both movies and documentaries. Amongst the Iranian filmmakers that will present their movies are Mania Akbari and Rakhshan Bani Etemad. At this year’s festival there are also special selections by Hivos/NCDO and Movies that matter. Supplementary to the presentation of the latest Iranian movies, this year there will also be musical performances and DJ’s, lectures and discussions of and with Iranian film makers.
