Originally conceived by Beckett as a radio play, Krapp's Last Tape has now been on stages for half a century. Not quite human, Krapp contemplates his 69 years as he listens to his younger self on the recorder, yowls and growls, disappears into the dark, and uncorks corks from bottles.
