The Persian Cultural Center is planning a BI-WEEKLY activity for the senior citizens on Thursdays.
The first planning meeting went very well. Lots of interest and good ideas. We had a lot people with a lot of enthusiasm.
Ms. Shokri & Mr. Froushani have graciously volunteered to coordinate the activities and provide leadership in this area. BUT we do need some more volunteers to help with the activities. If you can donate a few hours every couple of weeks, please let us know.
1 PM – 2 PM Meet & Greet for lunch (15% discount for seniors at Kasra Restaurant next door)
2 PM – 4 PM Doors open at 2:00 p.m. and activities begin
4 PM – Closing Open Hours for those who want to stay longer
Activities Include:
* Bingo
* Backgammon Games
* Card Games
* Short day trips organized by the seniors themselves
