Pooran Lashini
An Iranian born artist, Pooran Lashini is a painter and world-class Miniature Artist of Iran’s new generation. She uses traditional forms and motifs and delicately uses colors.
She has a Master’s degree in philosophy from Tehran University. She has also studied and taught Drawing and Painting in L.L.C in London. In 2006, she moved to the United States. She has been researching and writing about Holy Art and Symbolism. Her work has been featured in more than 30 exhibitions in Iran, Turkey, Dubai, England, Wales and U.S.A.
Maryam Sameni Shokri
She has learned her techniques from painting classes and workshop instructors including Lap Ngo, Jane Jones, Frances Gammill, and Lee Akins. She studied art at Collin County Community College . She has received numerous honors for her ceramic pieces in juried art shows. She is a member of the Plano Art Association and board member of McKinney Art Club.
She uses different media: Oil, Acrylic, Collage, Ceramic and Pottery pieces to create her artworks.
