Mrs. Danesh Eslami was born in Isfahan, Iran in 1950. Her interest in art, especially oil painting, began early in life. She was actively involved in the arts throughout grammar school and high school and received many awards during those years. In spite of her great talent and enthusiasm in many different forms of art, her parents encouraged her to choose psychology as her major of study when she entered the university and advised her to keep her artistic interest on the side. Danesh started her career as a high school teacher and later on as the high school principal for over thirty years. However, at the same time she spent many hours every day in her art studio painting, designing, and keeping the Isfahan’s traditional artwork alive. When she is in Iran, she travels to all four corners of Iran showcasing her art as well as training young artists in the traditional artwork of Isfahan’s. She has received many prestigious awards for her artwork and her dedication to artistic education since her grammar school years. Every year she travels to the U.S. for a few months to visit with her siblings, and while there, she continues her paintings and art creation regularly.
