A Night with Renowned Persian Poet Hafez [1325-1390 AD] to consult Persian poetic lines for guidance and remembering the bonds of friendship and a community of love and gratitude for life.
The program includes, but is not limited to, keynote speakers with a few words about Yalda Eve, Winter Solstice, and the Symbol of the Turquoise Bowl of Heaven,traditional vocal and instrumental melodies, recitation and reading selected from
the Collected Works of Divan-i Hafiz, a night with Hafiz on big screen, audience participation with personal reflections, a superb chance to meet scholarship awards recipients, good friends and talented members of our community, and more.
