Shahin Sayadi is an international artist who has made significant contributions to almost all aspects of performing arts in Canada and beyond. He was born and raised in Abadan, Iran and he moved to Canada in 1986 and studied Theatre and Scenography at Dalhousie University. In the past 20 years he has founded and is the artistic lead on two
successful Canadian professional arts organizations that have national and international impact: Onelight Theatre, based in Toronto, where Shahin writes, designs, directs and at times acts in original theatre works that have been performed across Canada and internationally.
Beside his work in performing arts, he is now in process of making several films. Shahin is a lifelong fan of Bruce Lee.
