Shabahang is fortunate to have two distinguished presenters for its November 1st, 2013 meeting.
Mr. Shahrokh Naderi, will be Shabahang's special guest and speaker. Mr. Naderi was the producer of the popular radio program "Shoma va Radio" (Radio and You!) for many years in Iran. He was among the initial team who established radio programing in Iran many decades ago and had a key role in assembling and guiding artists and musicians throughout Iran to perform on the newly established radio service.
Mr. Naderi, who is on a visit to the U.S. from Iran, is a treasure trove of historical information about radio service and artists in Iran and will share some of this history with us on November 1st. He will also answer questions from the audience about this topic.
The second half of Shabahang's November program consists of a documentary film about one of the well-known and popular stars of classic Iranian cinema, Mr. Naser Malekmotiee. The distinguished documentary film maker, Mr. Amir Sabouri will also be there to introduce the film and answer your questions about his work.
Shabahang's November 2013 program is dedicated to the memory of the late Dr. Mahmood Ghahramani.
