Lecturer:
Dr. Ghanadan obtained his Ph.D. in English literature from Lancaster University, England. He was an assistant professor at Ferdowsi University in Mashhad, Iran until 1979. Later, he joined the faculty of Georgetown University in Washington DC where he taught for 15 years before retirement. At the present time, Dr. Ghanadan is an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College. He also works for the ESL Department and public school system of Washington DC. Dr. Ghanadan is a literary citric and his articles are often published in periodicals such as "Naghd va Barrasi-e Ketab" and "Goharan" in Tehran. He also publishes in Iran Nameh: A Persian Journal of Iranian Studies published in Washington, DC. Among the articles that he has recently published are those on Akhavan-e Sales, Shamlou, Simin Behbahani, Ismail Khoi, and Modernism.
