Topic: "Iran Divided : The Historical Roots of Iranian Debates on Identity , Culture and Governance in the 21rst Century"
Shireen T. Hunter is a full professor of practice at Georgetown University. From September 2007 to June 2014 she was a visiting professor. From September 2005 to August 2007 she was a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University and adjunct professor. Prior to coming to Georgetown She was Director of Islam Program at the Center for strategic and International Studies with which she had 1983 (Director of the Islam Program, 1998-2005; Senior Associate, 1993-97; and Deputy Director of the Middle East Program, 1983-92). She was Academic Fellow at Carnegie Corporation (2000-2002).
