The Comedy Tour is a stand-up comedy tour featuring Middle-Eastern comedians Ahmed Ahmed and Maz Jobrani & Friends. The Tour started in November of 2005, and was named after George W. Bush dubbing Iraq, Iran, and North Korea, as the "Axis of Evil". The group jokes about terrorist groups along with being Middle-Eastern in America. Jobrani is Iranian-American and Ahmed Ahmed is Egyptian-American. On March 10, 2007 they were even given their own Comedy Central Special. The group's current events sense of humor has attracted media attention, they have been interviewed by CNN, NPR, and Time Magazine among others. They toured in several middle eastern countries with Showtime Arabia. King Abdullah II of Jordan has attended their show in Jordan and has conveyed his appreciation to their work.
